Inuvialuit Settlement Region Database

The Inuvialuit Settlement Region Database contains descriptions of 13,200 publications and research projects about the Inuvialuit Settlement Region in Canada's Northwest Territories and Yukon. The database is maintained by the Joint Secretariat - Inuvialuit Renewable Resource Committees and the Arctic Science and Technology Information System (ASTIS), and is funded by Shell Canada, MGM Energy, ConocoPhillips Canada andChevron Canada.

Polar Data Catalogue

The Polar Data Catalogue is a repository of metadata and data that describes and provides access to diverse data sets generated by Arctic and Antarctic researchers. The metadata records follow ISO 19115 and Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) standard formats to provide exchange with other data centres. The records cover a wide range of disciplines from natural sciences and policy, to health and social sciences. The PDC Geospatial Search tool is available to the public and researchers alike and allows searching data using a mapping interface and other parameters.

NWT Research Database

The Aurora Research Institute (ARI) maintains a collection of scientific research licence information for studies conducted within the NWT. This database is a compilation of license information from various processes that have been in place for administering the NWT Scientists Act since 1974. In this database, records are available from present back to 1991 and they are currently processing others to make available all licences back to 1954.
